Series 7,30 months later…

Back in February 2014, approximately 30 months ago, I wrote up my first impressions of the Windsor & Newton Series 7 paint brushes that my most excellent wife bought me for the Christmas before. These were not a cheap investment, after two and a half years, how are they doing?

Painting Miniatures A to Z

One of the reasons Infinity (the Game) has a repution of having some of the best minitures in the industry is down to one of their staff painters, an extremely talently gentleman by the name of Angel Giraldez. After producing various painting guides for Vallejo’s paint set, including the Non-Metallic Metal set, Angel self published his first book early this year, entitled ‘Painting miniatures from A to Z’ Masterclass Volume 1.

Series 7 First Impressions

Today has been rather annoying. Instead of getting out of the house and actually playing games, I have been working on Eiryss 3. The flip side of this is that I’ve finally got around to breaking out my new Series 7 paint brushes.

Fire Starter

There are relatively few models or units in Warmachine that are worth taking in multiples. Griffin light myrmidons are an obvious example with Epic Vyros; and the Phoenix heavy myrmidon is another example, although probably only with Adeptis Rahn.

The Year That Was 2013

In the twilight days of 2013 we have a new Doctor, and somehow I have had a rubbish year despite the fact no one has died and I mostly have my health. No pleasing some people.
