Paint the Target

I like the idea of this ‘Paint the Target‘ challenge. Each month, VoltRon is making up a different, and fairly random painting objective. For January, this was paint a Christmas present, and for February its something a little more romantic…

Rose are red,
Violets are blue,
I roll boxcars,
I smash you.

My immediate thought was ‘Eiryss 3’, because she’s obviously a girl-elf, and she has a crossbow, which counts as archery to me. However painting her red is probably going too far because she’ll end up looking like Little Red Riding Hood.

General consensus was that she looked better with her hood down, which handy, because that will make painting her face easier. I decided not to add the arrow sticking out of the jack’s head, but even so, this model consists of eight individual pieces. Thankfully, she went together easily enough.

This said, given we are already in February, I’m unlikely to get her painted.

Anyway, if you fancy having a go at this challenge, check out VoltRon’s blog here.
