The 2012 Review

With only a few days left of the year, I thought a review of 2012 was probably in order. Actually, this is largely an excuse for me to ramble on about nothing in particular (as if I needed an excuse) and reflect upon my first whole year living in a foreign country.

At the Sharp End of a Pointy Stick

I got my first game of the year at Sad Muppets tonight against my regular (well, sort of regular, bearing in mind I live in Sweden now) opponent Dave OJ. As we are both entering A Small Matter of Honour in May, it seemed only sensible to face off our two Grey Knight armies.

Comply or Die

Well, I’m back home from a weekend of Warhammer 40000 at Triple Helix Wargames in Westbury. For those who have not been playing attention I have been using my Grey Knights at Compliance 2 for the past two days, and in summary, they did OK.

Well, in an unusual change of pace, I’m actually ready for my next 40K tournament, Compliance at Triple Helix Wargames, in plenty of time. My only significant change to my army list is swapping a Strike squad for a unit of Purifiers (pictured below).

Some how, I’ve managed to get a second weekend pass this year. However this time instead for running an event; I’m playing in one and I’m really looking forward it!
