Anything Worth Doing…

Mad ScientistWelcome to ‘Anything Worth Doing’, a blog about tabletop wargaming, and pretty much anything else I feel like putting in it. Here is a quick guide to the madness contained within…

  • Warmachine and Warhammer 40000 are the two main topics on here as these are the two wargaming systems I play the most. Most of the topics revolve around the armies I own, including tactics, army building stuff, and painting.
  • Paint & Modelling includes posts on the hobby side of wargaming. Don’t expect detailed ‘how to’ painting guides, because my painting is very much tabletop standard, but there’s a few conversion projects in there and some tips & tricks.
  • Reviews these posts are reviews of various wargaming things such as new forcebooks, miniatures, wargaming accessories and anything else which seems good to review. For the record, I don’t get paid for any of these, and they are all based on my opinion, which might be different to other peoples’.
  • And finally the Muse posts are all the other random things I want to talk about. Most of these are still wargaming related, but be warned, there are also some very random topics.

If you also want to follow the blog via Facebook, we have a Facebook page where all the latest updates are posted (plus a few other things).

Now you know about the blog, who am I?

My name is Richard and I’m a former Sad Muppet and general all round geek. Rumour has it I play wargames in between work, travelling (for work), and family. I also have a bit of a thing for very big hills. I have been into this wargaming thing for a very long time so if you want to learn more about me, check out this post.

Anyway, I hope anyone reading this blog and my occasional rants, enjoys this little bit of my writing therapy. If anyone gains any entertainment or inspiration, so much the better.
