Stryker!!! (and other warcasters)

Hello 2016! It’s been a while since I’ve written anything, but I have been productive and not practicing for Smogcon in February. I’m somewhat committed to bringing Cygnar (against my better judgement) and a friend of mine is determined to make me play in the Iron Gauntlet tournament, which seems like a very bad idea.

Journeyman Leagues, Nomads and Stuff

Firstly, some apologies (damn I hate doing these all the time). Life has generally got in the way of blogging over the last few months. This is likely to continue for a bit, so please bear with me, or follow the Anything Worth Doing page on Facebook for slightly more regular updates.

While You Were Away…

After a bit of a break, I have finally got back to writing something. Hurrah! As surprising as it may sound, I have actually been busy painting and playing over the festive period. Unfortunately, I’ve also been busy with other ‘life’ stuff, so the blog has been on hold.

Big Blue

I might have said it before, but big robots are the reason I got into Warmachine, and obviously for steam power fighting robots, size matters. And Cygnar arguably have to best giant robot in the game. Well, it would be rude not too.

Blog Block

This is going to be one of those, ‘I’ve been very busy’ posts, so apologies, and feel free to move on. It is not that I haven’t been going hobby stuff, it is just that I have not actually finished anything this month.

The Last Boy Scout

Commander Stryker, the Cygnar Battlebox warcaster, is the very definition of the average warcaster in Warmachine. However don’t let that put you off, basic Stryker is still a very competent man.

Packaging

Coming back Cygnar, it seems that many of my lists now compose of one or more ‘packages’. This probably needs some kind of definition. A ‘package’ is a very unofficial term for two of more units/solos/jacks with complementing synergies.

Besieged

Its been a while since I first used Markus ‘Siege’ Bisbane and although I probably have not got a perfect army for him, he does solve a problem which is why I am back to him after a three year break.

Summer Blues
