Full Broadside

Well, it’s been a while since my last blog. mainly because the work thing has been getting in the way. Although I’m happy to say it’s not just the real job preventing me from painting at the moment (although it is the biggest culprit). Ruth’s business has also got a bit busy with a couple of big orders and a show in Sittingborne yesterday entitled Broadside.

Some how, I’ve managed to get a second weekend pass this year. However this time instead for running an event; I’m playing in one and I’m really looking forward it!

A Small Matter of Honour

Well, I’m  back home from the Sad Muppet Society‘s annual 40K tournament, A Small Matter of Honour. Anyone paying attention will know I’ve been updating my Grey Knights for this event, so how did it go?

The new ‘Paladins of Titan’

Well, I’ve got the new Grey Knight codex today and in between destroying my foot (an incident with my daughter, and a perfectly flat piece of car park), and doing some system upgrades for work; I’ve managed a first stab at an army list for Sad Muppets‘ A Small Matter of Honour tournament on the 7th May.

ROAR!!!!!!!!

Hi all, after a bit of a hobby drought, this weekend was full of Warmachine campaign goodness. The only downside being, I was organising and not playing! Still, the first Legion of Snakes Eyes Warmachine Campaign Weekend went very well thanks to a great bunch of players, a great team, and brillant hosts (Triple Helix Wargames in Westbury).

Professor Rudenko

This model is something a little unusual. We will be using her as Archaeologist Professor Tatyana Rudenko, for Legion‘s Warmachine campagin weekend, Where Sleeping Gods Lie at the end of February.

However, it is a limited edition model sculpted for this year’s Hammerhead; a wargaming show in Nottinghamshire run by the Chesterfield Open Gaming Society (COGS) and the Gaming Club Network.

Where Sleeping Gods Lie

There is a legend. To the east of the Iron Kingdoms, even east of the Iosans, lies a great desert. Among the sands lies a forgotten city, all but consumed by time, all but erased by history. At the centre of this forgotten place lies a ruined temple, and buried depth in its vaults stands a tomb.

Building Worlds

As part of LEGION’s first Warmachine campaign weekend in February, Where Sleeping Gods Lie, I’m building a campaign map for the weekend. Between myself and the other guys running the event, we had a few discussions on exactly how to visualise the campaign.
