Ravyn’s Revenge

It strange how just a couple of games can completely renew your enthusiasm for this hobby. For various fairly boring reasons, I have not been able to play much Warmachine over the last four weeks so after a long day at the office, I was very happy to be able to go to club on ‘Magic The Gathering’ night and break out my angry elves.

Attrition or Assassination?

OK, I don’t want to scary anyone, but I’ve won my last two games with Ravyn. OK, there has been some freakish luck involved, however in both games I’ve also changed my play style a little. Experienced players should probably switch off now because is all bleeding obvious stuff.

Under Pressure

Anyone that knows me, know that I’m, to be generous, a methodical player. This is ok in casual games, but Warmachine tournaments normally have a timed element, and the campaign at club is running a relaxed timed turn format.

Snipe, Feat, Go

Hej campers! The last week has been busy but rather productive. Hobby wise I’ve managed to finish both Ravyn and Discordia, and then this evening I even got two games in with the new girl.

Summer Campaigning

I’m now back in Northern Europe, rather annoyingly just in time for the local club Warmachine/Hordes campaign that starts this week. I say “annoyingly” because despite taking painting and models on holiday, I simply didn’t have a chance to do anything hobby over the last two weeks.
